Chloe Rowe
Title: Assistant Coach

Chloe received her first badminton racquet on her 3rd birthday, and what first started as a fun game soon became an everlasting passion.

Chloe received her first professional instruction working with a Japanese coach. The pair worked together for 8 years, and by age 12, Chloe had left Canada to train with a high school team in Japan. It was here that she decided to dedicate her life to the sport.

After some much needed time off, Chloe decided to move to a Toronto Club where she would have the benefit of training with more kids her age. She became the #1 women's doubles in Canada, top 5 in singles and mixed doubles. Her success presented numerous opportunities to participate on the international stage, where she competed at the Junior Pan Am Games and the World Juniors.

After her junior career, Chloe was approached by Humber College for a scholarship to compete for them in College. At Humber, she captured 4 national gold medals in women's doubles with 4 different partners.

Now, as she moves onto the next chapter of her badminton career, Chloe's focus is advancing the current Safe Sport initiative for Badminton Ontario and coaching for Centennial Varsity Badminton Team. Chloe is beyond thrilled to be a part of Centennial and is looking forward to working alongside her former coach Jolyon Thompson.
